Spotlight On Series: Book Talk Group

Event Description:

Can't wait to get your hands on the latest Jack Reacher novel? Are you lost to the outside world until you know how the Elm Creek Quilt Series ends? JPL's new book talk group is for people who love to read (or listen to) books in series. You're invited for snacks and discussion about the series books and authors you read and love. Share your current can't-put-it-down series and get ideas for new series you might want to try. This month's focus is G is for Genre. What are your favorite genres to read? What makes books in different genres, for example, thrillers or cozy mysteries, alike or different?

Spotlight on Series is facilitated by Missy Schwebach and Dreama Deskins, both of whom work at JPL and are avid series readers. Dreama says she wants to live in a world populated by characters in her favorite series. When she's not reading, Dreama enjoys crafting and gardening. Missy likes to read past her bedtime and since fourth grade has aspired to be a junior sleuth, just like kid crime solver, Abby Jones. Join this laid back group and share your love for series fiction. No reservation is necessary.
