Rory and Chad will educate our palates with herbs, spices, chiles, blends, oils and vinegars and share great fall treats that incorporate autumnal spices. Rory Brown is the co-owner of AllSpice and lover of all things food. A self-proclaimed chef and foodie, Rory grew up in SE Iowa and started baking, canning and cooking at an early age. He loves to share his knowledge of food and joy of cooking with others and hopes to inspire people to be adventurous with their own cooking ideas. Chad Russell has lived in Des Moines longer than he cares to say but considers himself lucky to get to call it home. He believes the point where good food and amazing companionship meet is about as close to real magic as we are ever going to find on earth. When not contemplating his next meal or savoring his last, he serves as Allspice's resident clown, fellow spice-lover and mad experimenter.
